Both of our boys attended your soccer camp this Summer, last week in August, and had a fantastic experience. They are excited to return next year. Thanks for offering such a fun and well organized soccer camp for our kids.

Thank you to Coach Val and all of the BHS students and staff who made this such a positive experience for my 7-year-old daughter. This was our first year with the camp, and we will definitely sign up for next year. I loved hearing about all of the activities from the well-structured camp days, including the challenging ‘move of the day’. The final day of World Cup games was a HUGE hit, and a very creative way for the kids to practice their skills in a live game setting. The World Cup theme was also a fun way for the kids to show some positive spirit and to learn how to be gracious winners and losers. One change I would love to see would be to extend the camp to a full five days. Even if it meant making each day an hour or two shorter, I’d love to see one more day of skill building before the grand finale of Cup games on Friday. Thanks for a very positive week!

I had heard great things about this camp and finally our summer schedule allowed both my daughters to participate. They both loved it!! The only constructive comment I would have is that you might want to reconsider giving medals/trophies for the “winning” World Cup teams. While older kids understand this, my first grader was rather crushed that she didn’t get anything. While announcing and recognizing the winning teams is a great boost for those individuals, I think it might provide a more positive experience for everyone to get some sort of token of their efforts.

Thanks again for providing this wonderful opportunity in our community!

Great camp as always! Thank you. Maybe next year plan for the second full week of summer instead of the first…..

This is the third year my son has done this camp and he loves it! He had so much fun and was sad to see it end and to say goodbye to his coaches. Great job everyone.

My daughter has gone to this camp for several years and always enjoys it. Coach Val is a strong leader, yet is extremely approachable and encouraging. He is supported by the high school girls’ soccer team, and it is a big plus that they play such an active role in working with the kids too. They are “real world” role models, especially for girls. At the same time, it is also a plus that the camp attracts both boys and girls (about equally), and includes a range of ages (they do a nice job of both separating and mixing the ages depending on the activity). This is probably the best deal in town as far as summer camps go (soccer or otherwise), and to top it off you know the money is going to a good cause (it is a major fund raiser for the team).

My daughter loved the camp! She taught the whole family how to do the “Maradona” move. Well, she tried. Thanks for a great week.
