Coach Val and his staff are happy to announce the 2011 camp dates. This year we have added a new camp for Goalkeepers. We are very excited about our new partnership with SoccerPlus Goalkeeper camps. SoccerPlus is a nationally recognized camp for goalkeepers, run by former US Women’s National Team Head Coach Tony DiCicco. Tony’s staff will be here on hand for one week in August to help those young goalkeepers hone in on their skills and to fine-tune the elite keeper as well. For more information about SoccerPlus camps please visit them at www.soccerplus.com/seattle (All keeper camp registration will go through them.)
We have made another change this year, we will only be running one week of our camp. In our continuing efforts to support and be involved in our local community we have decided to help support the SPU soccer camps. Rather than compete with them we felt it was in the best interest of both camps to support one another. The SPU soccer camps will be very similar to what you would expect from the beaver soccer camps, in fact Coach Val has been hired to run their camps as well. We hope that you will join us and support both camps this summer, as it will truly be an experience you will want to go to year after year. For more information about the SPU soccer camps please visit them at www.spusoccercamps.com.
At all of our camps the coaches will work with the players to improve their technical, tactical and mental skills needing for high level soccer.
We will use technical & individual training along with 4v4 and 6v6 training modules. The coaches will demo all drills and small-sided games so that all campers can watch these players/coaches at the highest level perform.
Our goal at the Beaver Soccer camp is to provide great role models for the campers, help each camper build a road map for future success, and most importantly, have FUN!
